Mobile phones in emerging markets like Southeast Asia, South America, Africa and Eastern Europe will be a huge area of growth in the coming decade, with millions or even billions of people coming to the internet for the first time via mobile devices. For this happy hour, Google’s Rachel Cheung will give us analysis of how these emerging markets are developing, and offer tips for apps and startups as they try to go cross border and tap this huge new user base.

RACHEL CHEUNG, Google Play Business Development
Rachel, a native of Hong Kong, works on business development in Taiwan for Google Play apps and games. She moved over to Google’s Taiwan office only a few months ago with the mission of growing Taiwan’s mobile app ecosystem, managing new initiatives outreach, and influencing the product development of key Google Play features such as developer console, search and discovery. Before coming to Taiwan, she worked with Taiwan app developers on Google's ad monetization product, AdMob for 2 years.
