▍About Lecture
In this lecture, Nadir Akhtar and Rustie Lin Hayes will present a pragmatic introductory treatment of blockchain that is suited for both technical and business-oriented listeners. After introducing the technology, they will explain at a fundamental level how a distributed system comes to consensus, generalize the innovation of Bitcoin to non-financial applications such as smart contracts, run through example use cases, and conclude with a framework by which attendees can effectively reason about their own potential blockchain use cases.
