TAxT【講座】智慧城市的黑色沃土：數位藝術與社會的美麗邂逅 Fertile Ground of Smart City: A Serendipity when Digital Art Meets Human Society

科技藝術發展與科技文化策略的關係緊密依存，相互影響，桃園市擁有豐富的人文藝術與產業優勢基礎，伴隨亞洲·矽谷計畫、智慧城市等發展，如同多層次的黑色沃土，交織出科技藝術所需的各種養分要素，充足堆疊發酵的養分才得以孕育出好的科技藝術環境，桃園市首次舉辦科技藝術節的核心價值即是打造出蘊含桃園的科技藝術生態圈。

Technology art development is interconnected with technology cultural strategy. On the base of Taoyuan’s culture and superior industry along with the guide of Asia Silicon alley and Smart City, Taoyuan, just as black earth, is nourished with the essence of technology art. Only with full fermented nutrient that we can build a good technology art environment. As the first time, Taoyuan City holds Technology Art Festival, to create a technology art environment based on the Taoyuan’s culture and atmosphere.

此次TAxT邀請到宏華環境保護與數位未來基金執行長的李士傑，身為跨領域數位文化思考與行動者的他，將於講座中，和我們討論與分享：如何串連起一座城市？有眾多媒介 —— 從貨幣、資本、文化符碼、建築量體到資料與資訊流—— 以往它們各自在結構上交錯對接，如今伴隨著資訊科技，構築成了一片美麗動人的數位新地景。政府資料的開放，民眾的多元參與，文化的形塑與演進與藝術的反思，揉和出一個孕育對話與反抗、獲利與生存的土壤與培養皿。

TAxT has honor to invite Li Shih-Chieh, the CEO of Hung Hua Fund for Environmental Protection and Digital Future. As a thinker and activist of digital culture across many disciplines, in this discussion, he is about to share his perspective and view toward technology and city. How do we ensure a city gets connected? There is all kinds of media - currency, capital, cultural pictograms, building massing, to information and information flows - used to be separate elements that ran parallel to each other. Now with help of information technology, the elements are brought together to form a magnificent digital landscape. Government transparency and civil engagement, together with cultural influence and evolution, and artistic reflections, have turned our homeland into a Petri dish for dialogue, disobedience, profit and survival all blended into one.
