For the keynote speaker at this week’s happy hour, we welcome Oscar Ramos, program director at MOX’s sister accelerator in Shanghai, Chinaccelerator. He’ll talk about why startups fail, how accelerators help, and how companies can get the most value out of an accelerator program. We’ll have cold beer, as always, to keep you cool through the talk.

OSCAR RAMOS, Chinaccelerator Program Director
Oscar is a “full stack innovator” with expertise ranging from product development, market entry strategies, venture capital financing and corporate strategy. He has experience as an entrepreneur, management consultant and early stage investor, and is a regular speaker worldwide in conferences about innovation and entrepreneurship. He began his career 14 years ago as an R&D engineer at Research Center for Ericsson and Telefonica.
He moved to China in early 2008 and currently serves as program director at Chinaccelerator, the leading startup accelerator in China, helping internet startups from around the world cross borders – from the world into China and from China to the world. Founded in 2010, Chinaccelerator has helped 100+ companies build and scale their businesses.
奧斯卡（Oscar Ramos）是中國加速的項目總監。作為一名全能型開拓者，奧斯卡曾是創業家、管理顧問、早期投資人，從產品發展到企業戰略都有歷練。在獲得電信工程碩士學位後他放棄了生物醫學博士學位，成為一名研發工程師，先後服務於愛立信和西班牙電信的研究中心。在發現商業創新模式後轉戰創業領域，並在一家醫藥科技創業公司工作數年。2008年初，奧斯卡移居至中國，繼續投身創新，涉足產品發佈、市場進入策略、風險投資到併購。
奧斯卡擁有在世界各地創新論壇豐富的演講經驗，他也是MBA課程講師，覆蓋創業管理、創新策略以及風險投資。
