「如果不走出去，我們的十年就過的像同一天....」平常盲人按摩上班，工時甚至長達10~12小時，下班後的娛樂大致為朋友的聚會、或在家打電動用電腦。若沒有明眼人的帶領，他們少有機會出遠門。盧冠良、賴保全、陳育慧跟馮建成，一個全盲與三個重度弱視，四名視障者在今年四月用九天的時間，挑戰自助環島，看他們如何煮火鍋？逛夜市？怎麼體驗風景與海。而一邊上路的同時，他們也去療養院等機構按摩關懷其他弱勢族群－－「不冒險、就是最大的冒險」這群盲人要走出被保護的刻版印象，體驗環島！他們在黑暗中上路，用雙手按摩傳遞對社會的溫柔，整部片看了笑中帶淚，對於未來，只要充滿樂觀與勇氣，哪裡都是光明。
Rat and Shanghe used to look after their
mother, an alcoholic who once worked in a variety troupe and then became the
Mama-san of a hostess bar. Soon after Shanghe left for the States, Shuo took
Rat on a short trip to Kaohsiung in the south. There, they clashed with local
gangsters and Rat scarred the face of the gang-boss Ah Xiang. While Rat was
away, his mother died in an accident. Several days passed before her body was
found. Both her sons still live with the guilty feeling that they weren’t there
for her when she needed them. And since her death, the spirit of Thanatos seems
to have entered the house, affecting both brothers in ways …
