導演魏德聖繼《海角七號》、《賽德克巴萊》上下集後，再度推出第4部作品《52Hz, I love you》。海報以插畫形式呈現鯨魚和貓咪接吻的前導視覺，搭配「孤單，只是故事的開始」的標語。魏德聖笑說，這部戲是跟寂寞感有關，「我想要拍一部讓人『不孤單』的電影。」有別於前幾部作品的史詩風格，魏導這次拍攝《52Hz, I love you》，直說有「休息一下下」的感覺，「當年拍《海角》的過程最辛苦，這次拍《52》則是最快樂，是我最輕鬆愉快、最享受的一次拍片經驗！」他用《海角七號》寫下一篇篇動人情書，這次則藉由《52Hz, I love you》大方唱出一首首愛的旋律，希望能藉「音樂」來增加厚度，傳達滿滿的幸福感給所有觀眾。

The theme of the movie, 52 Hz I Love You, the director wants to share with is about the bounding care and love between people. He wants to bridge the connection for all the North America Taiwanese by bringing the love and joy from Taiwan. Also, he would love to use this opportunity to share the Taiwanese culture and spread out the Taiwanese spirit. Therefore, this event is open to every one in Baltimore city, including all the Taiwanese students, international students and local residents.
