TTTIFA2016<Plastic City>
Plastic City的演出結合了傳統皮影戲與嶄新的實驗方式，不只是單純的黑白影子戲。演出的概念源自於我們對環境的對話與省思，闡述與探討人們與塑料之間的存在性。我們收集及撿拾來自大家所丟棄的各種塑料為創作媒材，讓我們生活裡平常不過的塑料用品將以另一個姿態出現在舞台，讓物件本身說話，讓光線與各種塑料迸發出不一樣的視覺畫面與訊息。我們希望這屬於環境題材的演出可以與各個地方、城市進行對話。
Plastic
City is a performance that incorporates traditional Wayang Kulit and
contemporary experimental presentation. It jumps out of the box of ordinary
black and white shadow play. The concept of the performance began with our
reflection and thought on the relationship between human and mother earth. It
illustrates and explores the coexistence of human and nature.
All
of the materials we used are collected from what others have thrown away. We
collected it up and infuse a second chance into these abandoned plastic
objects, to let them speak their inner voices out. We then use a flashlight to
project their message out on the screen.
Environmental issues are universal, we hope that this environmental theatre can dive into different places and have numerous interesting conversations.
