Everyone, at times, will get into a debate or a heated discussion. But could you defend an idea you don't necessarily agree with? For this class, students will get the opportunity to have short debates on a range of topics, from the simple ("Cats are better than dogs") to the more complex ("Taiwan needs nuclear power"). Everyone will get a chance to speak, and will be able to nominate the difficulty of their topics. As the teacher, I will help students during their preparation period prior to speaking, as well as giving advice following each debate.
*James的辯論課是輕鬆寫意的，不會太正式、不會太激烈，是大家悠閒地在James舒適的家中一起喝個咖啡、渡過愉快的週六下午。辯論的題目可以是很簡單的「貓比狗好」，也會是比較難一些的「台灣需要核能發電」，只要是想練習英語表達的朋友都歡迎來參加。
