Regularly voted one of the best books of the 20th century, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint- Exupery has become the 3rd most translated book in the world. Now, to celebrate the release of the long awaited movie, we will be taking a closer look at this tale of a young alien prince fallen to Earth. With every page richly graced with deep themes of growing up, open-mindedness and love & loss, The Little Prince is a rocking, powerful, kick-ass work of art that never gets old. If you have never read it before, you are in for a treat, as we'll be looking at 3 chapters a week. If you have read it, excellent! Please come and tell us your thoughts.

We'll be taking a look at the background of the author and book during our first class, as well as an in depth look at the first third of the book. Let us consider the process of growing up - what do we lose when we grow up? How does the world around us cause us to lose it? How can we get it back?
