Chakra, Channels and The Yoga of Lady Niguma
In this class we will practice an ancient yoga asana lineage dating back 1000 years to a woman from India called Lady Niguma. Experience how her sequencing and poses move your prana up your central channel to total bliss. We will also explore a hand picked selection of some of the deepest verses from the Yoga Sutras which were written in India about 2,000 years ago, and are considered the source of almost all the great teachings on yoga. The yogis intention was to unlock the paths of our inner body—the channels and chakras. And this allows us to change the entire world around us, to love ourselves more deeply and the see the beauty within others and ourselves.
Join us for philosophy, singing, yoga and fun!
Yogis and Yoginis welcome of all levels.
