演講主題 Theme : Where is Value in the Uncertain World (In English)
Frank A.Y. Wang, graduated from Columbia University with both BS degree in Electrical Engineering and MS degree in Operations Research in four years. Frank has 16 years of investment experience with investment bank, buy-side, venture capital before he started a new fund venture in 2011. In 1996, Frank started his career in New York with Goldman Sachs as a Financial Analyst in Global Semiconductor Investment research. Frank then joined Citigroup Global Assets Management in 1999 as Vice President for Asian Technology Investment Research where he pioneered the research unit. In 2000, Frank returned to Taiwan and helped to start a venture capital company and was on the board of global technology companies.
In 2002, Frank returned to the sell side with Credit Suisse researching capital-intensive technology companies in Taiwan. In 2004, Frank joined Morgan Stanley as Executive Director; expanded his research coverage to Greater China Electronics and Asian Software companies in addition to his role as Taiwan Equity Strategist. Frank was ranked as top analyst by Institutional Investment Survey for Taiwan, Asian Semiconductors, Asian Software, etc. In 2011, Frank started Athena Capital Management focusing on investment opportunities of under-valued, under-researched companies in Taiwan.
