Chinabot is a platform and collective created to change the dialogue surrounding Asian music.
In 2017, a digital diaspora community, a multi-disciplinary label and network of Asian artists decided to cooperate on a new way to collect and promote exciting Asian music. They want to show a slice of what they like, the cultures they come from and their own ideas. They are an online community and a virtual home celebrating the music that falls between the gaps -- a place for adventurous listening.
Chinabot is positioned at the junction point between the influence of Asian music on contemporary/traditional sounds, music outside the mainstream and the development of experimentation.They work with composers, sound artists, improvisers and musicians to develop projects that rearrange the furniture of the musical world. They want to question our assumptions about what music is and where it can go.

LAFIDKI is a london based sound/visual artist from Cambodia, and founder of Chinabot, a label and platform created to change the dialogue surrounding Asian music.
LAFIDKI played international festivals VIA 2012 (Pittsburgh), Nuit blanche - French Institute 2016 (Kyoto/Japan) ,Siam Museum (Bangkok/Thailand), Sonic Moon (Hanoi/Vietnam), Electrona (Hobart/Tasmania), represented Cambodia at Tallinn Music Week.. And shared stage w/ Hype Williams, KXP, Lydia Lunch, James Ferraro, Maria Minerva, Molly Nilsson, Andy Stott, Com Truise, Laurel Halo...

The Pen Test
The Pen Test is an understanding between Bryan Hitchcock and Patrick Scott-Walsh. An agreed upon reality they cooperate in the ongoing construction of. Point of origin is difficult to discern, but initial development occurred in Athens, GA. Further additions occurred in Minneapolis, MN. Their phone numbers both start with the (715) designation exclusive serving Northern Wisconsin until 2010 when the (534) area code was added to supplement the growth cellular telephony.

Dao Yuan Cheng’s work takes the form of sound experiments, videos, and installations.
In live performances, a mood is gently stacked up to build a wall of sound, thickly coated in a floating space, to be self-exiled between the surrounding sublimation and dysphoria.
The focus is on the dialogue and feedback from a site, the particles that bear consciousness, the disorder of words pieced together to form the contours of sense.
Much of this work deals with the original state of space-time and the similarity between birth and destruction, two aspects that cohere to a single form.
