What do you know of French cuisine? Foie gras, Escargots or Duck confit... There are MORE! There is a whole other side to French food, a Créole fusion style from the island of La Réunion. La Réunion is a tiny island east of Madagascar, also a region of France.
Our star chef this time, François, lived in La Réunion, and much of his dishes have French Créole fusion elements, combining French delicacies and Créole island’s humble style cooking. Interested? Find out more at F2G’s 《French Tropical Delight》!

ABOUT OUR CHEF
這次為Food2gather呈現《世外桃源的法式熱帶佳餚》的主廚人François Brami,來自南法,受過法國嚴格的廚師專業養成訓練,投身餐飲業至今已超過17年,深諳正統法式料理。因童年時期居住在法屬熱帶小島-La Réunion 的影響(當地除了法國人外,亦有許多來自印度、亞洲及非洲的移民),François的料理中可嚐到以法式料理手法融合法屬島嶼特有的食材、香料的「克里歐料理」(Créole cuisine) 作法,有別於一般印象中精緻、繁複的法式料理,克里歐料理走的是美味樸實路線,因料理中常使用多種香料,擁有豐富經驗及知識的主廚人才能完美拿捏不同香料與食材之間的平衡。
2012年François來到台灣,先後服務於不同餐廳,終於在今年四月François與同樣身為廚師的妻子Rita決定自立門戶,介紹不一樣的「樸實美味、輕鬆自在」的法式料理給台灣的美食愛好者們,「克里歐法式餐坊」因此誕生。這次與Food2gather一同舉辦《世外桃源的法式熱帶佳餚》,是一個新嘗試,希望能讓更多人知道這樣的法式料理
François Brami was born in Southern France, throughout his extensive culinary training, he has been in the industry for over 17 years. Aside from french cuisine, his culinary style is heavily influenced by Créole food, where he lived in La Réunion (a French island in the Indian Ocean, east of Madagascar) during his childhood life. Much of his dishes have French Créole fusion elements, combining French’s delicate cooking techniques and Créole island’s humble style of cooking using exotic and tropical ingredients .
François moved to Taiwan in 2012, and worked as an advisor at various restaurants. This year, he decided to start one on his own with his wife Rita (also a chef). He wishes to share a different French style cuisine to Taiwan, and alter what Taiwanese commonly think of fine dining French cuisine.
