Tellus Theatre Workshop II Presentation [中英演出介紹]
Inspired by the teachings of the great European masters of physical theatre, Jacques Lecoq and Philippe Gaulier, Tellus Theatre puts “play” at its very heart and centre. Through fun and joie-de-vivre, Tellus, led by director Daniel Petursson, explores expression and meaning though sound, shape and body, rather than though method acting or naturalistic storytelling.
Its Workshop II Presentation at the Red Room is the culmination of 8 weeks of interactive play, employing multiple languages. It includes poetry, improvisation and devised short plays, as well as it’s own unique take on more famous texts, including Chekov, Beckett, and T.S. Eliot.
