關於POW! WOW!
POW! 是揣摩藝術與人產生的碰撞，感覺就像一記拳頭打在臉上。
It’s the impact that art has on a person. A punch in the face.
WOW! 是觀者對藝術的反應，形容當下產生的敬畏與驚嘆。
It’s reaction that art has on a viewer. A sense of awe and wonderment.
POW! WOW! 一詞來自美國原住民，形容一場慶祝文化、音樂與藝術的盛會。
Together they form POW WOW, which is a term that describes a gathering that celebrates culture, music and art.
POW! WOW! 街頭藝術活動 主要是由全球知名的藝術家組成的國際藝術組織，在夏威夷已歷經六屆的舉辦，台灣也邁入第三屆，是當代藝術家的年度集會。其目標在於以藝術與音樂創作提昇民眾對新世代街頭藝術的認知，運用創意與文化的相互激盪來創造一個「新世代街頭藝術」。
歷屆的活動，幸得來自當地政府、大學、創作領域、產業界的支持，獲得了社會各界民眾的共鳴與參與，讓我們看到並相信街頭的藝術創作為社區所帶來的變化。
