When design thinking is applied to the creation process, a product can be improved in previously unimaginable ways. In a similar way, an entire industry can be revolutionized when we apply methodologies from the design field. In the past, we focused on the market, management, and human resources–we were ignorant of the fact that there is a new game at play. The simple comparison of specifications is no longer relevant; in today’s business environment, people care more about the value a product or an experience can add to their lives. From manufacturing to product, from packaging to visual identity, it is the duty of design to imbue brands with new life.
