ALPHA Camp is pleased to collaborate with Draper University to expand its reach to aspiring entrepreneurs in Taiwan. We are honored to invite Andy Tang, Silicon Valley VC/Draper University CEO, as a our Keynote Speaker In this engaging event , he will talk about what characteristics should the next generation of entrepreneurs have, and how Draper U push their students to become heroes!

【Speaker Bio】
Andy Tang/CEO of Draper University
Andy is currently serving a dual role as the CEO of Draper University and Managing Director of Draper Dragon Fund, an early stage cross border China/US venture fund located in Silicon Valley.
He has spent over 20 years working in the Silicon Valley technology and finance industry. He started his venture career as a partner a Infineon Ventures then moved on to serve as the managing director of ABB Technology Ventures. Prior to his venture career, Andy was with CSFB’s technology investment banking group and was a senior engineer at Intel Corporation working on the original Pentium processors. He serves on the boards of directors of numerous private and public companies and nonprofit institutions.
With an MBA from the Wharton School as well as engineering degrees from MIT and UT Austin, Andy also holds one US patent for display and computer memory applications and is a frequent lecturer and speaker at various universities in the US and Asia, including Stanford, INSEAD Singapore, Tsinghua University Beijing, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, to name a few.
Bernard Chan/Founder of ALPHA Camp
ALPHA Camp founder and mentor of various incubators in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the United States. Used to serve as an entrepreneur in residence at TMI; Regional Director, Head of Ad Exchange and Network APAC at Yahoo!; and consultant at Bain & Company. Obtained an MBA degree from MIT Sloan School of Management, and dual B.A. degree in Electrical Engineering and Economics from University of Waterloo. He is experienced with startups in the United States, Beijing, and Hong Kong.
【Alumni Bio】
JJ Tang
JJ Tang was a finalist for Entrepreneur Magazine's College Entrepreneur of the Year. While in college, he led two ventures that were funded by his Edson Student Initiative, Arizona State University premier accelerator. One of these ventures was selected into Steve Blank's inaugural Lean Launchpad class for Healthcare Startups at UCSF. In addition, he worked on a project whose right's were acquired by Disney.
While at Draper University, two of his ventures were funded by Tim Draper. He is currently a mentor at Draper University while working on his start-up.

Located in Silicon Valley, Draper University of Heroes is the brainchild of free-spirited venture capitalist Tim Draper. We are an unconventional world-class program for the brightest young entrepreneurs from around the world. We built this school because the world needs more heroes.
Draper University offers an Immersive Residential entrepreneurial training programthat combines lectures from All-Stars in various fields, experiential and creative activities that challenge your creativity and imagination, networking opportunities with classmates and mentors, and other surprises. The program culminates with a Business Pitch Competition with the opportunity to get your startup funded!
