3D Printing Jam 週末！
繼2012年12月19日3D列印主題聚會頗受好評和熱烈迴響，Yushan Ventures和威盛電子將在2013年1月19日和1月20日於威盛電子新店總部同時間舉行的APC Boot Camp工作營活動裡舉辦一場3D Printing Jam。現場將有3D印表機和3D模型設計師協助參加者使用Google SketchUp軟體以及針對一些基本條件創造你的3D圖檔。如果你有興趣多暸解3D列印趨勢及未來的發展、應用，也非常歡迎一起參加！
在蛇年的2013年裡，我們將挑戰參加者以蛇作為靈感，並加進自己的設計，創作出各式造型如簡單的雕像、首飾、杯子或碗之類的東西，創意可以無限延伸！參加者以2到3人的方式組隊設計小組的作品，並且提出行銷計畫推廣到線上販售！
如果你有興趣參加活動，手腳一定要快，因為名額有限！ 網路報名NT$1,000。參加者可以學3D modeling繪圖操作、免費餐點供應以及印出你們小組的3D模型！
*每一位參加者必須自備筆電，以及事先安裝好Google SketchUp。

3D Printing Jam Weekend!
Building on the enthusiasm and interest generated from the 3D printing seminar we held on December 19th, Yushan Ventures and VIA Technologies will be hosting a 3D Printing Jam as part of the APC Boot Camp kickoff weekend, January 19th and 20th, at the VIA Headquarters in Xindian, New Taipei City.On hand will be a host of 3D printers as well as a group of 3D design experts to help you learn the basics of 3D modeling using Google SketchUp, and the special requirements for creating a printable 3D file. Anyone who is interested in learning more about this technology of the future and having some fun while they do it is welcome to join.
As 2013 is the year of the snake, we will challenge participants to use the snake as inspiration and to incorporate into their designs which can range from simple figurines and jewelry to cups and bowls and even a case for APC. You are only limited by your imagination. Participants will work in teams of two to three people to create designs of products along with a marketing plan for promoting and selling them online.
If you are interested in joining the event be sure to sign up soon as participation will be limited. Cost for the weekend will be NT1,200 at the door and NT1,000 for online registration. For this entry fee you will receive training in 3D modeling, 3 meals at the event as well as a printed version of your design.
*Each participant will be required to bring a computer with the free Google SketchUp software installed.
