Other than continuing to be large scaled hackathon from 2015HackNTU, we will continue to provide a more comfortable hacking environment, various software and hardware resources at 2016HackNTU. Along with series of pre-event workshops and seminars, the hackers will have sufficient knowledge and resources and develop their project. We hope that through this process of brainstorming, the hackers will be able to bring their innovative ideas to life at 2016HackNTU.

The preparatory team adopt the experience in last year as example, and after months of discussion, reflection as well as collecting user data, we proposed a well-planned way of separating different sections so as to provide a better Hackthon experience for everyone. This activity will be partitioned into five main sections including Game, Fintech, Smart Life, Social Design, Free, and the upper limit of the number of teams for the first four sections are 40. After the introduction of rules in opening ceremony, we will allow every team to choose different sections according to their interests. However, your team cannot switch to other sections after determining which section to participate in unless your team choose to participate in Free section. Of course, we will try our best to make everyone to get a deeper insight into different sections and spark more ideas on it by holding Pre-event such as seminar or workshop, so we will be glad to see your presence!
