「台北藝術博覽會」每年於展覽期間舉辦專業的產業論壇－「台北藝術論壇」，是國內少數兼顧學術與市場的國際型藝術研討會，匯聚國內外精英與產業代表，系統性地討論亞洲豐富精采、異質多元的文化藝術，以及跨市場、區域的實務觀點和學術理論。今年邁入第十屆的台北藝術論壇將聚焦討論「藝術金融」議題。
隨著國際間對於亞洲藝術與美學的關注逐年提升，以亞洲現象開始交集的各種文化觀點以價值的討論，逐漸匯成一股時代性的效應及風潮，促使多樣形式的論辯，形成亞洲文化之特殊性與內部多元性，得以不斷衍化的異變動能。由台灣畫廊協會台北藝術產經研究室所主辦的台北藝術論壇，作為串連亞洲與國際藝術世界的交流平台，規劃於2015年10月31日舉辦「2015台北藝術論壇│2015 ART TAIPEI FORUM」。
近年來，國際上針對藝術與金融的相關討論方興未艾 ，隨著藝術經濟全球化、相關資訊的透明度和普及性增加，復以藝術品投資報酬率優於金融商品與原物料投資的市場表現，藝術品已逐漸成為新興熱門的投資項目，已從早期的藝術收藏發展至今日藝術品金融化。綜觀目前全球的藝術品投資方式，除了個人直接購入藝術品之外，普遍的作法為購置藝術基金或藝術證券，截至2014年，全球藝術基金市場規模估計約達12.6億美元，配合前述投資方式，藝術融資與貸款的業務也應運而生，可使投資者、畫廊及藝術經紀人靈活運用藝術品進行彈性財務操作，越來越多高資產淨值人士進入藝術品收藏及投資領域，藝術金融成為政府或是民間機構積極推動的標的。
今年欣逢台北藝術論壇十週年，鑑於世界經濟和財富重心東移，亞洲地區的投資動能及整體市場成長幅度勢必可期，特別規劃以藝術金融為主題，並邀請中華民國銀行商業同業公會全國聯合會、公部門、各方專家學者等共襄盛舉，期待共同為亞洲藝術金融發展向前邁步。
Art Taipei Forum, a specialized industry forum, is held every year during Art Taipei. The forum is one of the few international art forums that combine academia and the market. Local and foreign elites and market representatives converge to systematically discuss the rich, brilliant and diverse nature of Asian culture and art. They will also be examining cross-market and cross-regional perspectives and academic theories. Entering into its tenth year, Art Taipei Forum will also focus on the issue of " art & fiance."
With the ever rising attention on Asian art and aesthetics in the international community, discussions on cultural perspectives and values fused by the Asia Phenomenon are coming together as a trend of our times that sparks conversations and debates in various forms. TAERCentre is a research body under the Taiwan Art Gallery Association (TAGA) with a mission to make visual art industry in Taiwan more innovative. Based on having had night successive years of good harvest with more than hundreds of attendees annually including professionals, scholars, gallery owners, collectors and press worldwide, we are pleased to announce the 10th 2015 Art Taipei will be held on 31st October 2015.
In recent years, international discussion on the relationship between art and finance has not died down. As art economics globalizes, information becomes more transparent and commonly-found. Hard assets (such as art pieces, red wine, and other rare items) have become a new focal point for investment due to the financial crisis. Art has gradually become the most popular new investment category. If we look at current investment modes in art, apart from individual purchases, the most common method is investing in art funds or art securities. As of 2014, the global art funds market is estimated at $1.26 billion. In conjunction, art financing and loan operations have emerged. Investors, galleries, and art agents can utilize art for flexible financial operations. As more HNWIs venture into art collection and investment, renowned traditional banks have started offering these services.
As it approaches its tenth year anniversary, Art Taipei Forum has chosen art finance as its topic to offer a first look at the development at art finance operations in Taiwan. We invited the Bankers Association of the Republic of China, public sector and various experts to join this important annual event.
