共同設計可持續的改變｜循環與社會設計工作坊

其實，循環與社會設計正在我們身邊漸漸發展，

在新一波循環經濟帶動的產業變革中，台灣與世界各國共同面臨新的挑戰與機會，一樣跟物資流動有關，但不再是長久以來線性經濟「取-造-用-棄」(take-make-use-dispose)的思維與作法，而是在地球資源逐漸耗竭的情況下，如何降低天然礦物的開採、提高產品回收與再製的使用、建構新型態的國際產業合作模式，以促進物資流動的永續循環。這個趨勢揭示了產業界不只在觀念上，在整體結構上從材料、製程、設計、乃至行銷、服務各個層面都需要進行重大的改變。在此變革中，設計師扮演了相當關鍵的角色。設計師不再只是被動地使用現有材料的創作者，而且是主動地參與新材料開發的研究者，更是積極地投入產業循環系統建構的協力者。未來透過設計師與產業界的緊密連結與合作，才能創造這個時代的新價值，達成經濟、社會、生態的平衡與發展。

而這次我們將邀請到「永續金娘」的設計者之一來自荷蘭恩荷芬的設計師Lilian van Stekelenburg

Lilian他致力於各式策展與設計，尤以與台灣相關的主題。策畫、設計並執行各式展覽、演講、工作坊與共同創作活動。在這些作品中，他深入詮釋與轉化在平面、產品、時尚和建築裡的文化視覺語彙。

而這次Lilian將帶著大家透過實地考察，從尋找問題開始，一步步建構出循環的概念，期望能藉此解決我們身邊持續發生的問題。

是如何進行的呢?

連續兩天，從早上9點半到下午5點半，共16個小時。

第一階段｜認識

透過初步的小組介紹；整個工作坊流程、及工作進行的方法。讓大家更全面的了解活動的進行與方式。緊接著介紹我們的主題：社會與循環設計，讓大家能更加熟悉這次的主題，也將透過QA解決大家心中的疑惑喔。

第二階段｜考察

我們將分不同組別進行實地考察，讓大家能夠在最真實，最貼近社會的情況下去觀察現象、挖掘問題，並透過錄影與攝影記錄整個過程，各組之間也能彼此分享，觀察到的現象與問題、以及考察過程的心得，這些都將應用在隔天的活動。

第三階段｜收斂

簡單的回顧了第一天的實地考察、收斂各組發現的問題與現象；再從最後收斂的問題中挖掘出最根本的問題所在，進而才能在接下來解決問題的過程中，準確的從根本解決問題。

第四階段｜創建

這個階段我們將使用上個階段的產物，創建出循環的概念，透過不斷的討論、修正、破壞，一步一步讓他更加完整，最後再由各組分享這兩天下來的成果。

A circular and social design workshop

Do you have a similar feeling or idea?

In fact, the circular and social design is gradually growing around us.

In the new wave of circular economy-driven industrial change, Taiwan and the rest of the world face new challenges and opportunities, as with the flow of goods, but no longer the linear economy (take-Make-use-dispose) that is thinking and practice, but in the case of the gradual depletion of the Earth's resources, how to reduce the exploitation of natural minerals, improve the use of product recycling and reproduction, the construction of a new type of international industrial cooperation model to promote the flow of goods in a sustainable cycle. This trend reveals that the industry needs to make significant changes not only in terms of the concept, but also in the overall structure of a material, process, design, and marketing, and service. In this change, the designer plays a very critical role. Designers are no longer creators who just the passive use of existing materials and are actively involved in the development of new materials research also actively engaged in the construction of industrial recycling system. The future through the designer and the industry closely linked and cooperation in order to create the new value of this era, to achieve economic, social and ecological balance and development.

And this time we will invite one of the designers of "Goddess of Sustainability" from the Dutch Enhefen designer Lilian van Stekelenburg.

Lilian is dedicated to all kinds of curatorial and design, especially the theme about Taiwan. Design, and perform various exhibitions, presentations, workshops and co-creation activities. In these works, she in-depth interpretation and transformation in the plane, products, fashion, and architecture in the cultural visual vocabulary.

And this time Lilian will take everyone through the field trips, from searching problem to building the concept of circular, hoping to solve the problems that continuously occur around us.

How is it run?

First stage｜Introduce

Through the initial group introduction and the entire workshop process carried out. So that you can more fully understand the activities. Followed by our theme: social and circular design. We through QA to solve the doubts, so that can be more familiar with the theme. 

Second stage｜Field trip

We will conduct field trips in different groups so that we can observe the phenomenon in the most realistic and the most relevant circumstances, dig the problem, and record the whole process through video and photography, which can also be shared with each other group. Phenomena and problems, as well as the experience of the field trips, which will be applied in the next day's activities.

Third stage｜Narrow down

A simple review of the first day of the field trip After that, we start to narrow down problems and phenomena you got yesterday and then digging out the most fundamental problems from the result. Through the whole process, we can really accurate solve the problem with the concept of circular design. 

Last stage｜Create and Present

At this stage, we will use the product of the last stage to create the concept of circular, through continuous discussion, revision, destruction, step by step to make it more complete. At the end, every group shares their own project to others.
